We are looking for a new addition to our Employment and Workplace Relations Team in Brisbane CBD. The Company: This organisation is a really well thought of Commercial Law Firm with offices throughout Queensland. They are looking to expand their Brisbane team due to internal growth. The Brisbane team boasts a small close knit environment with a really hands-on friendly team. The Role: Working within the workplace relations and employment law division the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years PQE - ideally this will be working within a similar role. This role involves plenty of client contact and you will need to hit the ground running and be able to multi-task. The candidate that we are looking for will have first rate people skills, and be an excellent communicator. You will have really good Business Developing and Networking skills and the ability to build your own brand within the company and attract new clients to work with this superb organisation. You will be working directly under the Special counsel and Principal, so this would ideally suit someone at Associate Lawyer level looking for really good mentorship and to develop their career within the practice. Skills: You will be experienced in employment law and have good hands on experience of working with these type of clients in your previous role. You will be within your comfort zone working in the following areas: Sexual harassment and employment discrimination Work Cover and OH & S matters Redundancies and restructuring Industrial Disputes Most importantly is an excellent all round knowledge of your chosen specialism.
